OUR BELIEFS
What we believe shapes everything we do.
We are not defined first by our work,
but by what we believe to be true about God, His Word, and His world.
Our mission, to serve, disciple, and form people, is not driven by need alone,
but by conviction.
Everything we do flows from what we believe about Christ.
Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, fully sufficient for teaching, correction, and life.
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
— 2 Timothy 3:16-16
Because God has spoken, we do not define truth—
we receive it.
This is why our work is shaped by Scripture, not by cultural need or human strategy.
God
We believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternal, holy, and sovereign over all things.
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!
— Isaiah 6:3
God is not distant from the world He created. He sustains it, governs it, and acts within it according to His will.
This is why our work is not ultimately ours, it is participation in what God is already doing.
Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the Savior of the world and the Lord over all.
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
— Colossians 1:17
He lived, died, and rose again, not only to forgive sin,
but to reconcile and restore. This is why we do not present material relief as the solution, we present Christ.
Because He not only saves, He transforms.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
— Ephesians 2:8-9
No work, effort, or service can earn it. And yet, true salvation leads to transformation, a new life shaped by the Spirit of God.
This is why we do not serve to be saved, but because we have been.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, present and active in the world and in the life of every believer.
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
— 2 Corinthians 3:18
The Spirit convicts of sin, reveals Christ, and brings new life. He does not draw attention to Himself, but leads us to Jesus, forming us over time into His likeness.
This is why our work is not simply external. We do not believe lasting change comes through programs or effort alone, but through the transforming work of the Spirit in the heart. He sustains, guides, and empowers everything we do.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, a people called, formed, and sent into the world.
27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
— 1 Corinthians 12:27
The Church is not a building or an institution, it is a living community that reflects Christ.
This is why we are not building an organization, we are forming disciples who live as the body of Christ.
Mission
We believe God calls His people to love their neighbor, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
— Matthew 28:19-20
Material relief matters, because people matter. But relief alone is not the mission.
We serve because Christ has called us to love, and through that service, we proclaim that He alone is sufficient.
WHY THIS MATTERS
These are not ideas we hold at a distance.
They shape how we see people, how we serve, and what we hope for.
Because every person is made in the image of God, we serve with dignity, not pity.
Because Christ is Lord, we do not present ourselves as the solution.
Because salvation is by grace, we do not serve to earn anything,
but because we have received everything.
Because the Spirit transforms, we do not rely on programs or effort alone,
but trust in His work within the heart.
This is why we do what we do.
We provide material relief, because people matter. But we do not stop there.
We proclaim Christ, because He alone is sufficient.
We form disciples, because transformation is the goal.
We pursue community, because the gospel creates a people, not individuals.
We do not proclaim a program, a system, or an outcome.
We proclaim a Person: Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, and reigning.
He is the source of all we have, the reason for all we do, and the hope we hold out to the world.
