NUTRITION PROGRAM

We Give to Bless

A gospel-centered relief ministry serving vulnerable members of the community

with dignity, presence, and hope.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food…” — Matthew 25:35

What it costs

It costs $20 per month

to provide consistent meals and clothing for one elderly person.

A simple act, with lasting impact.

What We Do

We serve vulnerable members of the community, especially the elderly, as those who bear the image of God.

Through meals, clothing, home visits, and consistent presence, we care for real needs while building real relationships.

This is not distribution.

It is dignity and presence over time.

What We Provide

We provide consistent, monthly care for vulnerable members of the community, especially senior citizens who are often living alone.

Each person receives a food pack designed to last the entire month, including staple items such as rice, flour, oil, powdered milk, and eggs; ensuring that basic nutritional needs are met with stability and care.

Alongside this, we provide clothing, carefully collected and shipped from the United States, meeting practical needs while affirming the dignity of each person we serve.

This is what $20 per month makes possible: the purchase of these essential food items and the shipment of clothing for those we serve in our community.

How We Provide It

But how this care is carried out matters just as much as what is given. We serve through three dedicated teams, each responding to the real conditions of those we walk with.

  • One team remains at The House, welcoming those who are still able to come, not just to receive, but to stay connected.

  • One team walks to those who live nearby, visiting, spending time, praying, and worshiping together.

  • And for those who are further away or physically unable to travel, one team goes directly to their homes, bringing not only food and clothing, but presence, prayer, and care.

We currently serve the same 150 families each month, creating consistency and stability for those who depend on this care.

At the same time, there are more elderly individuals still waiting for support. We continue this work faithfully, while praying for the ability to serve more.

Our Story

This ministry began in 2017 with a simple conviction:
no one should go hungry in a world sustained by God’s generosity.

It began with one life, Juan Hernández, whose love for God and others reflected the gospel in action.

In remembering what God did through him, this ministry was born.

More than a meal

This ministry offers more than provision.

It offers dignity to those often overlooked, presence where there is isolation,
and hope where there is need.

What begins as meeting physical needs, food and clothing, becomes relationship over time.

Our Posture

We follow Christ, who came to serve (Mark 10:45).

We do not stand above, we walk alongside. In every interaction, we seek to reflect humility, care, and love.

We give not to prove something, but to proclaim Someone:

Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life (John 6:35).

Be Part of What God Is Doing

This is not about giving to a cause.

It is about participating in the mission of God,
joining in the work of making disciples among the nations.

Here is how you can join:

Go: Engage directly in the mission, making disciples and serving alongside the local church.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

Pray: Join us in prayer as God transforms lives through His Word and His people.
“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” — James 5:16

Give: Invest in gospel-centered discipleship and the formation of Christ-centered communities.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart… for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
