Goal: Provide the students biblical foundation and understanding of Holy Week. Its meaning and significance.
The Youth Ministry is the heart of all we do. We want to form servant leaders in the image of Jesus, but in order to do that they must understand who Jesus is. The students must be able to read and comprehend the Bible. We want to show them Jesus in word and deed.
The teaching series may look as follows:
Monday Teaching: Romans 6:1-14
Tuesday Morning Teaching: Romans 8:11-17
Tuesday Afternoon Teaching: 2 Cor. 4:6-18
Wednesday Morning Teaching: Galatians 2:20
Wednesday Afternoon Teaching: Ephesians 4:17-24
Thursday Teaching: Col. 3:1-15
Friday Teaching: 1 Peter 2:24
Good Friday Reflection Gathering:
Easter Sunday Teaching: Hebrews 13:20-21
This mission trip is highly relational, it is intended for both you to get to know the students and the students to get to know you. We will look to follow the rhytms of community group at Grace Point Church. We will incorporate the five rhythms of Feast, Pray, Play, Learn, and Go.
We will be serving the community through a food and clothing distribution.
