Education

During the July mission trip, we will focus on training the GIVE Educators to equip them better as we expand on the current Spanish literacy program and implement new programs. Over the next couple of years, we will roll out an English as a second language and math curricula.

Our focus in this mission trip will be on the educators working with the foundation. However, we will invite the teachers from the school we partner with to participate voluntarily.

The trainings will focus on 4 areas:

1. Reading

2. Math

3. Handwriting

4. Assessments

In addition to the training, we will discuss a teacher mentor program to provide the GIVE Educators someone, to build a relationship with and with whom they can discuss challenges they may be facing in the classroom.

During this mission trip, we will also distribute clothing for the nutrition program's families. We will have opportunities to build relationships with the students and possibly assist with constructing The House.
